2011 Directing and Play Selection
Prospective Directors are invited to submit up to 3 plays and/or musicals for our next season. A Director's Application (which includes comprehensive instructions) must be filled out completely and returned to Playcrafters by March 31, 2010 for both straight plays and musicals.
The Play Selection Committee will review all submissions and recommend a lineup to the Playcrafters Board, who selects the final season. In addition, the committee reads, and may choose from, a broad spectrum of modern and classic comedies, dramas, mysteries, and musicals to assure Playcrafters commitment to provide a balanced season.
The scripts listed below are simply suggestions of shows that may be a good match for our audience and our space. We encourage directors to submit shows that they want to direct first and foremost. This list is merely intended to serve as a starting point and it will continously change.
